Colour your world

Hello photographers, flickr friends and art lovers. I am soliciting your help in the creation and growth of a project titled ‘Colour your world’. It will consist simply of me sending to you in the mail one cleaning sponge and one push pin. This will require that you send me your mailing address. The pin and sponge will be of similar colour either red, yellow, blue or green. What I am asking interested participants to do is to pin the sponge in a public location or at work or school but not at home.You may relate the sponge to a similar or the same colour as the sponge. Then take a picture of the sponge and the related colour and general location as seen in the examples in the group pool. You may also take a close up of the sponge showing where you placed the push pin. You can use your own discretion where to pin the work. Preferably it will not be in your home but in a place that is in a public space or at work. Generally somewhere that gets a good amount of traffic. After you have pinned the sponge and taken the image you may remove the sponge and take it with you and address other spaces. Please then post your images in the group pool. Also document the exact location in text and send that information to me and I will make a geotag map of the sponge location. I’m hoping to get a good spread across the globe, so international interest is appreciated. I ask that you take the images at the highest resolution possible as the resulting images will be shown at some point as a final project for an exhibition. I’m sure that I will refine the project further as it develops but for now, thanks to all those that join and take part.
